“A graduate of Leeds Conservatoire, my music career began with a job offer from film composer Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, The Dark Knight, Inception, Dune).
Joining the newly established team of composers at Bleeding Fingers Music, I trained as a staff writer across a range of styles and genres, composing for documentary and reality programming on National Geographic, Discovery and MTV.
Following a brief hiatus to travel Europe with my wife, an invitation from former Zimmer protégé Benjamin Wallfisch (Dunkirk, Blade Runner 2049, Hidden Figures, Hellboy) led to a contribution of music and sound design for Mortal Kombat (2021) and Ron Howard’s Thirteen Lives (2022).
Currently, I’m collaborating with a selection of vocal artists for a forthcoming album, working on the score for an animation inspired by The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, and my first symphonic concert work.”
